Walker Recognition

When walking to and from school, students are subject to school rules and regulations. Students are to follow the directions of the Safety Patrol, teachers on duty, and the Crossing Guard. Please walk on the sidewalk and cross at the corners. Please do not use private property as a short cut while walking to and from school. Walkers waiting for pick up are to report to the designated area, outside of the main office. There are two benches where your child can sit while waiting for pick up.

Bus Rider Recognition

Bus riders who are recognized follow safety guidelines and rules to keep everyone traveling to and from school safe! They arrive to the bus stop on time and make sure they wear their seatbelts for the entire ride. Older bus riders assist younger bus riders and set a great example for others who sit alongside them on the bus.

C.H.A.M.P.

Receiving a C.H.A.M.P. award is especially exciting for our first graders! This is the first time students will be able to receive the C.H.A.M.P. award, and we look forward to seeing who stands out in the future. Nothing but smiles from this crew!

Community of Caring

In the Community of Caring Schools, the Five Core Values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility, Trust and Family are woven into every aspect of school life. Everyone models these values, and students are provided many opportunities to explore them throughout the curriculum.  Read more in our Parent/Student Handbook, linked: here.
